The short version

HandMaxx works with no account, no sign-up and no email. Your scans, scores and protocol are stored only on your iPhone. We have no user database and we cannot see your results.

Your photo: exactly what happens to it

This is the most important part of this page, so it is written plainly.

• When you run a scan, the photo of your hand is sent to our server, which passes it to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) for the visual analysis.
• The photo is analysed and discarded. We never write it to disk and we keep no copy. See OpenAI's terms for the API: openai.com/policies/business-terms.
• The copy you see in the app stays on your phone, in the app's private folder. Deleting the scan or the app removes it.
• No name, no email and no account identifier travels with the photo, because we do not have any.
• You must explicitly agree to this before your first scan. Until you agree, no photo is sent.

What is processed, and by whom

• Scans, scores and protocol: stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them for good.
• Image analysis: OpenAI, as described above.
• Analysis server hosting: Supabase. To limit abuse, our server keeps a timestamped record of each call along with the originating IP address, automatically erased after 48 hours. No photos, no scores and no analysis content are stored there.
• Purchases and subscriptions: handled by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat (subscription management). RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier and the transaction history it needs, never your scans. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Notifications: reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device. Nothing is sent to a server.
• No ads, no tracking: HandMaxx contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics.

Minors

HandMaxx is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Because the app has no accounts, we have no way to identify anyone.

Your rights

Because your data stays on your device, you control it directly: delete a scan in the app, use "Delete everything" in settings, or delete the app to wipe it all. For any question, including GDPR requests, email us at support@handmaxx.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
